	HOSPICE of Lake Cumberland Our services can help eliminate added stress that comes from coordinating medical care and other end-of-life issues by providing practical support from our network of volunteers and professionals. Hospice views the patient, family and disease process from a holistic perspective addressing the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient and family. Our belief is that quality of life is as important as length of life.

	Kentucky Department Of Veterans Affairs Governor Paul Patton established the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA) in 1998. He charged the Department with helping veterans and their families obtain all federal, state and local veterans benefits to which they are entitled.

	Liberty Care Center This care is provided in the belief that by helping the patient and loved ones accept death as a natural part of life, a measure of peace can be restored to the process of dying. By alleviating the patient's pain and fear, hospice care fosters the spiritual strength to live, as fully as possible, all the days of one's life.
