Lizzie Conner

Lizzie Conner, 97, of Russell Springs, passed away on Thur. Sept.10th, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home. Lizzie was born in Jamestown, KY, on Feb.11,1918, a daughter of the late Nettie (Brumley) and Baugh Russell. She was a seamstress at Russell Sportswear. The widow of Harlan Conner. Lizzie is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harlan Conner, three brothers Clarence, Melvin and Olis Paul Russell, six sisters Vertie Mae Pierce, Hallie Thurston, Fadra Conner, Hazel Brumley, Callie Craig, and Estelle Choate. Funeral Services for Lizzie Conner will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel on Monday Sept.14th, 3:00pm with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Friends may visit after 1:00pm on Mon. at the funeral home, Burial in the Jamestown City Cemetery.
